The Pinal County Material Recovery Center accepts waste tires from all Pinal County residents, including City of Casa Grande residents. Unwanted vehicle passenger tires can be dropped off for recycling at this state-approved waste tire recovery site. There is no charge for up to five tires per person per year. Additional tires are charged a fee of $1 per tire. There is a $5 charge for each tire with a rim.
The Material Recovery Center is one of Arizona's approved and funded waste tire collection sites. Waste tires are prohibited by state law from being disposed of in landfills, and are not accepted at the Casa Grande landfill. Tires collected at the recovery center are processed into crumb rubber for use in roadways and rubber-based materials.
