Uncontained Trash Schedule

Uncontained Trash Collection Schedule for Residents

The City of Casa Grande operates on a six-week collection schedule (based on six collection zones) for the removal of uncontained trash placed by residents living in single-family households. The schedule applies to residents receiving either alley or curbside collection services.

Residents with alley service are requested to place uncontained trash for pick up the weekend before the scheduled collection week. The material must be placed before 6 am on the first day of the collection week to ensure collection. There is no need to call for pick up.

Residents with curbside service must call 520-421-8625 to schedule a pickup by 3 pm the Friday before the scheduled collection week. Residents with curbside service are requested to place uncontained trash no earlier than the day before the scheduled collection week. The material must be placed before 6 am on the first day of the collection week to ensure collection.

Uncontained trash includes tree limbs, bagged lawn clippings, furniture, mattresses, carpet, and other bulky household items too large for placement in the trash container. All other household trash must be placed in the trash container for collection and should be bagged and tied to ensure it does not become a health hazard, or spill or blow out on windy days.

The City will collect refrigerators or other appliances with Freon for Residents only. Please call to schedule the collection of your appliance prior to the date of your zone's uncontained scheduled service. Please note that there will be a $30 fee applied to your account to recover the cost of Freon removal. Residents may also dispose of appliances at the landfill provided it is understood there is a $30 fee, per appliance, due at the time of disposal to recover the cost of the Freon removal unless the appliance has been labeled certified by AHRI/UL to meet EPA's minimum requirements for recycling and/or recovery equipment.

A Refrigerants Form (PDF) will need to be filled out when dropping off the item or scheduled for a pickup.
