Lisa Fitzgibbons has proudly called Casa Grande home since moving to the city in the early 1970s. A graduate of the local school system, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University before embarking on a diverse professional journey. Her career includes roles with Xerox Corporation, the Arizona Governor’s Office, Shearson Lehman Brothers in New York City, and Pepsi-Cola Company in Phoenix. Returning to Casa Grande to raise her family, Lisa dedicated her efforts to United Way of Pinal County and Fidelity National Title before joining Fitzgibbons Law Offices as Director of Marketing and Business Development, a position she has held for 17 years.
Lisa’s public service career began in 2010 when she was appointed to the Casa Grande City Council. Elected to her first full term in 2011, she is currently serving her third term and has twice held the role of Mayor Pro Temp. Throughout her tenure, Lisa has been a steadfast advocate for community development, championing initiatives that address local needs and foster growth.
Deeply engaged in the community, Lisa serves on several boards, including the Latino Familia Initiative, Hispanic Leadership Institute (HLI-Pinal), and the Mayor’s Task Force on Homelessness, among others. Her dedication has been recognized with honors such as the Latino Advocacy Award from Valle del Sol. Married for 34 years to Denis, Lisa is a proud mother of three daughters and grandmother to two grandsons, embodying a lasting commitment to her family and the Casa Grande community.
Lisa was elected Mayor in July of 2024. Her term begins on December 2, 2024, and ends in 2026.
