The City of Casa Grande Youth Commission and First American Credit Union will host a spring Community Shredding Day on Saturday, April 29, 2017. The shredding event is open to the public and there is no charge to shred up to five boxes of material. A donation to the Youth Commission is encouraged for those with more than five boxes of material to shred.

Members from the Casa Grande Public Works Department will be on-site to provide information and answer questions about recycling in the community. The event will be held in in front of First American Credit Union located at 958 E. Rodeo Rd. from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.

This year, an E-Cycle event will also be held in conjunction with Community Shredding Day. The Sanitation Division will be on-site to recycle your old electronics! Only certain electronic waste is able to be recycled; acceptable items include:

Computer monitors (residential only) *
Printers/Scanners/Copiers
TV’s (residential only)
Keyboards
Hard Drives
Electric Toys
Electronic Tools
Radios
Phones
Cameras
Household Batteries
