The 18th Annual Desert Grande Duathlon/Triathlon is scheduled for Saturday, November 7 beginning at 7:30 a.m. at Central Arizona College. The Triathlon consists of a 400m swim, a 10.3-mile bike and a 3.0-mile run. The cost is $45 for individuals and $75 for teams ($20 increase after October 19, only if space is available). The Duathlon consists of a 1.5 mile run, a 10.3-mile bike and a 3.0-mile run. The cost is $40 for individuals and $50 for teams ($15 increase after October 19). All participants will receive a t-shirt and refreshments will be provided following the event.  Registration will be accepted at the Parks & Recreation Office by mail, in person or on the web at active.com.
