Rosa Bruce Honored Rosa Bruce Honored

Casa Grande Housing Director Rosa Bruce was honored Monday night for her 31 years with the city. “It is one of those always bittersweet evenings where we say goodbye to one of our long-tenured employees,” Mayor Bob Jackson said.

The Community Services Department was recognized for the APRA Outstanding Program Award for the 2009 Doggie Dive In.


Special Olympics Recognized Special Olympics Recognized

The Special Olympics was recognized by Mayor Bob Jackson for Construction of the Bocce Ball Courts in Peart Park.


City Receives Recognition from the Census Bureau City Receives Recognition from the Census Bureau

Laura Cummings of the Census Bureau presented a recognition plaque to Blanca Varela, Chairwoman of the Complete Count Committee, Leila DeMaree, Senior Planner and Mayor Bob Jackson. The City of Casa Grande did an outstanding job in the 2010 Census.


Distinguished Budget Award Distinguished Budget Award

The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) presented a Distinguished Budget Presentation Award to City of Casa Grande, Arizona for its annual budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2010.
In order to receive this award, a governmental unit must publish a budget document that meets program criteria as a policy document, as an operations guide, as a financial plan, and as a communications device.
