The Casa Grande Police Department will be applying to the Bureau of Justice Assistance for Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant in the amount of $21,073 to fund overtime, materials and supplies, and a mobile video camera for community policing activities. A Public Hearing on this matter will be held at the Casa Grande City Council Meeting on Monday, July 1, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. All interested parties are invited to attend and offer comments.

PUBLIC NOTICE

The City of Casa Grande, Youth Commission is seeking artists interested in designing, constructing, and installing an Art Work (outdoor sculpture) for the Garden of Sunshine Memorial Garden. The Garden of Sunshine is located at Carr McNatt Park, 1115 N. Brown Avenue. The budget for this project is $1,500. The deadline for submitting an application is July 15, 2013. The City of Casa Grande Airport Advisory Board meeting scheduled for Tuesday, May 28, 2013 has been canceled. The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Airport Advisory Board is Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at 6:00 PM, 3225 N. Lear Avenue, Airport Terminal Building.

All meetings of the Airport Advisory Board are open to the public.

Estos son ejemplos de actividades para las cuales la Ciudad de Casa Grande puede usar los fondos federales del Otorgamiento de Fondos para el Desarrollo de los Vecindarios de la Comunidad (CDBG) si el proyecto principalmente beneficia a las personas de ingresos bajos y moderados, reduce barrios bajos y zonas deprimidas o atiende una necesidad urgente, o un riesgo para la salud.

• If needed, Election to Fill Mayor and Council Seats Not Filled in the Primary Election

Candidate Packet Distribution: October 24, 2012, at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 510 E. Florence Blvd., the City Clerk will offer a presentation on the Mayoral and Council Election Process, and will have available candidate packets. All interested parties are invited to attend.

Thereafter, information and Candidate Packets will be available at Casa Grande City Hall, City Clerk’s Office, 510 E. Florence Blvd., Casa Grande.

Candidate Packet Filing Deadline: December 12, 2012, at 5:00 p.m.
