Owner-Occupied Rehabilitation Program
OWNER OCCUPIED HOUSING REHABILITATION
The City of Casa Grande has funds available in the form of low interest loans, interest free deferred payment loans and grants to rehabilitate owner occupied homes within the City limits. Upon completion of the rehabilitation, the home will meet all applicable codes and energy efficiency standards. These standards preserve our affordable housing stock by extending the life of the units by 20 - 30 years. To qualify for this program, the total family income must not exceed 80% of median.
Repairs needed can be one or a combination of the following: Leaking roof, plumbing system, heating and cooling system, electrical system and foundation.
This program is the most valuable tool in our Neighborhood Revitalization efforts; it provides incentives for permanency and property maintenance that, combined with other beautification and infrastructure programs, drastically improve the living environment of our older neighborhoods.
The Owner-Occupied Housing Rehab Program is mainly funded by State Housing funds and Community Development Block Grant funds.
