July 4th Family Celebration

The City of Casa Grande along with Title Sponsor SRP would like to invite you and your family to come enjoy the festivities during this year’s July 4th Family Fun Day. Palm Island Family Aquatics Center pool will be open from 10 AM to 4 PM with admission $.50 for children and $1.00 for adults.

The event continues in the evening at the Paul Mason Sportsplex from 7:00 PM until 10:00 PM. There will be relay races, bounce houses, a water slide, volleyball, and watermelon eating contest. Entertainment will be provided by the K-Love radio station and the red, white, and blue family parade will take place at 8:00 PM followed by the fireworks show at 9:00 PM. A variety of concessions will be available for purchase as well. Don’t miss this great event and fun for the whole family!

Holiday Trash & Recycling Schedule

Independence Day July 4

City Of Casa Grande offices and services, with the exception of Emergency Services, will be closed on Friday July 3rd, in observance of Independence Day, Saturday, July 4th. The City Library will be closed on Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4.

Trash collection days will be affected as follows.

Trash Collection

Thursday, July 2 is moved to Wednesday, July 1

Friday, July 3 will be picked up on Thursday, July 2

Recycling Collection Thursday / July 2nd remains the same.

Recycling Collection Friday / July 3rd is moved to Thursday, July 2.

Uncontained Trash Collection for the week begins on Monday / June 29th

The landfill will be closed on Friday, July 3 and reopen on Saturday, July 4.
