Criminal Investigations Division

 

The Casa Grande Police Department's Criminal Investigations Division is currently under the command of Cmdr. Mike Keck The Criminal Investigations Division is responsible for complete investigations of all major cases occurring in the city. This division also brings to closure all open felony cases, and handles any necessary trial preparation. Crime trends are analyzed to detect similar methods of operation and establish predictions on where and when similar crimes may occur.

 

A variety of special investigative functions operate out of the Criminal Investigations Division. Applications for liquor licenses are checked for accuracy and truthfulness. The evidence room and secure storage for property as well as the identification/crime lab equipment and personnel operate under the Criminal Investigations Division chain of command. Grant funding for special projects such as auto theft and burglary deterence are also coordinated by the Criminal Investigations Division supervisory staff.
