Pre-School Ages 3-6
Themed activities may include arts and crafts, games, music and more. Eight sessions are being offered.
Old clothes are a must for this fun filled and paint splattered class. Mixed media will be used as the children color to their hearts content. Two sessions are offered in July.
This program is a combination of basic movement and gymnastics skills, designed for children ages 3-6. It will include learning somersaults, cartwheels and working with the mini-trampoline and the low balance beam. Two sessions are offered in June.
School Ages 5-17
Explore your creative side in this all inclusive art class. Each week we will serve up a nourishing slice of art in a different medium. Sign up for all 3 weeks or pick and choose! This course is for ages 7-12, and classes are offered in June.
Casa Grande Youth Theater
Participants will learn all aspects involved in the production of a play. Check activity brochure for current production. An audition packet will be made available. Performance dates are mandatory for all participants. Participants will be required to provide the needed costume for their part in the play. Junior Golf Program
Casa Grande area youth ages 7-17 may participate in the Junior Golf Program held at Dave White Municipal Golf Course. Each session will cover instruction on the three areas of the game and also rules & etiquette.
ROCKET CLUB $8
Co-sponsored by the Sunrise Optimist Club, children ages 9-14 can build a model rocket from start to finish. The club will take place Monday, June 8 – Friday, June 12, 2015 and will be held from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Len Colla Recreation Center. To conclude this program, youth may participate in a rocket launch on Friday, June 12 at 6:30 p.m. at the Paul Mason Sportsplex. Awards will be given to participants of the rocket club and everyone is invited watch these rockets take flight!
9-14 M-F 6/8-6/12 4:00-6:00 pm Len Colla
Youth will experience the basics of each sport including skill building and team play. Sportsmanship will be emphasized throughout the camp. The sports we offer are: Baseball – ages 6-11, Soccer – ages 6-11, Football -ages 6-11, Basketball – ages 6-10 and 11-14, and Pickleball/Volleyball – ages 9-14. Each camp is 4 days in length, Monday – Thursday.
Summer Club for Kids
The City of Casa Grande Parks and Recreation Department will sponsor this supervised summer recreation program for 5-12 years olds (12 year olds must be entering the 6th grade in the fall). Participants are free to arrive and depart the program at any time during the program hours. This program will run Tuesday, May 26 until Friday, July 24, 2015 from 7:00 a.m. To 5:30 p.m. Breakfast and lunch are available and a nutritious snack will be served each day. Activities include sports, games, cooking, arts and crafts and much more. Each week will include a field trip that will have a separate charge of $5.00. A $40 registration fee is required per child ($80 maximum per family). All fees must be prepaid for each week. Space is limited and registration will be taken on a first come, first serve basis.

PROGRAM FEES: (7:00 A.M. – 5:30 P.M.)
5 days – $75.00 (1st child), ($60 for each additional child)
4 days – $60.00 (1st child), ($48 for each additional child)
3 days – $45.00 (1st child), week ($36 for each additional child)
Join us for some wild and wacky science experiments with projects that may include making a volcano erupt and growing your own salt crystals. Children will learn how to make hypothesis and conduct scientific experiments. This course is for ages 8-11.
LEGO CAMP $75
Come join an exciting LEGO camp with Building Bonanza, LLC. Practice teamwork, communication and problem solving in group projects while practicing science and math. Also, make our own LEGO-Stop Motion Movie, like in the LEGO® Movie, in Stop Motion Animation with LEGO & Apple iPad! This is designed for mature kindergarten students and above.
All LEGO projects and other class materials remain property of Bonanza Educational. There are no take-home projects.
