What are the library’s hours?
Monday – Thursday 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Friday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Sunday 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Monday-Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Where is the library located?
The Main Library is located at 449 N. Drylake Street. We are located downtown behind Peart Park. If you are travelling west on Florence, make a left on Cameron and follow the signs. If you are going south on Pinal, make a left onto Florence and a right on Cameron, then follow the signs.
The Vista Grande Library is at Vista Grande High School, located at the Corner of Cottonwood and Arizola.
How do you get a library card?
Anyone residing in Pinal County can get a free library card. Just provide a photo id and proof of address. (usually a driver’s license with address, or if it isn’t updated, a photo id with a piece of mail or utility bill)
Book Mobile Schedule – The Book Mobile goes out only on Tuesday and makes three stops: Sunscape Resort from 9:30 to 10:00 am; Casita Verde Resort from 10:30 – 11:00 am; Foothills West Resort from 11:30 – Noon.
How many movies can I take?
Patrons can have eight (8) DVDs per card.
Can I check out digital books and other materials through your library?
Cardholders may check out digital materials through the Greater Phoenix Digital Library. You may also access digital magazines through Zinio. Please visit either library branch if you need help accessing library materials on your device.
Can I use the phone?
The library does not have a public phone. We will refer you to a pay phone unless it is an emergency.
Do you have computers with internet access? What do I need to do to use a computer with internet access?
The library has public access computers with Internet access. You need a library card with a pin or a valid government issued photo ID.
Do you have wi-fi access?
Yes, we have wireless Internet.
Do you have a fax machine?
We do not have a public fax at this time. We will refer you to a local office services store.
Does the library have a notary service?
No, the library does not provide notary services. There are several places in town that can provide the service as well as any local bank.
What newspapers does the library subscribe to?
Apache Junction Independent, Arizona Business Gazette, Arizona Capitol Times, Arizona Daily Star (Sundays only, delivered via U.S. Mail, will always be three days late), Arizona Informant, Arizona Republic, Barron’s Business Journal, Casa Grande Dispatch, Maricopa Communicator, Connotations, Coolidge Examiner, Elder Hostel, Eloy Enterprise, El Sol de Texas, Florence Reminder & Blade Tribune, Investor’s Business Daily, L.A. Times (Sundays only, delivered via U.S. Mail, will always be three days late), NY Times, Phoenix New Times, Prensa Hispana, San Manuel Miner, USA Today, & Wall Street Journal.
